: 2007.2008 : our year at a glance :

september: we begin advertising and promoting on university & college campuses
throughout Niagara. as well as other locations that students hang out.

november (preferably) - april: team meetings begin! there is a lot of prep we need to lead our team through in order for them to be properly prepared for their trip in may.

our team is unique to other global teams in that we have a photography and gallery element. so along with the foundational preparation (faith, community, justice) and teaching about japan, we also prepare our students photographically and how to set up a gallery show.
please see "the photography element" for further details.

this is also a time for team fundraising (team members also need to raise their own support) and socials (to get to know each other better... we're together for 4 weeks, 24/7, in may... need we say more?!).

january: the leadership retreat

may: THE TRIP!
4 weeks.

june - july: prepare for gallery exhibition

august/sept -
THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

september: we begin advertising and promoting for the next team...

: 2008.2009 : our year at a glance :
our teams are currently on hold. we are still involved with global youth network and continue to bring awareness to the issues from our japan 2008 trip locally and internationally. your support would go towards helping to fund exhibitions, speaking engagements and future plans/projects. if you have any questions regarding funding, please do not hesitate to contact us [email].

link to EVENTS >>> current listings of exhibitions and speaking engagments.

dates may not be exact and are normally quite flexible depending on how quickly a team forms and when a gallery can be booked.
